JOMTHONG WINS FIRST
ALL ASIA CHAMPIONSHIP

Thailand boxer Jomthong Chuwattana has made history winning the first WBC All Asia boxing championship.

Jomthong, the reigning OPBF boxing champion scored a unanimous points win against the WBC Asian Boxing Council Continental champion Ronel Suco to win the super featherweight contest over 12 rounds in Kunming on 24 November.

The scores for Jomthong's victory were: 117 - 112, 119 - 111 and
119 - 109.

The championship was hard fought throughout with Filipino Suco standing his ground - and Jomthong unable to knock down his tenacious opponent.

The victory puts Jomthong into the top 10 of the WBC world rankings.

Jomthong is on a mission to be the first fighter to win WBC Muay Thai and world boxing titles.
