A NIGHT OF NEW CHAMPIONS IN KAZAKHSTAN

Saturday, December 19, 2020: MTK Kazakhstan hosted a night of regional boxing last night in Nursultan with two WBC Asian Boxing Council championship title fights on the event.

Nurbol Sultanbay was crowned the new WBC Asia super-welterweight silver champion when he defeated then reigning champion Miras Ertanov via a unanimous points decision.

21-year old Torgynbek Amirov captured the WBC Asia Silver super-featherweight title by way of a split decision victory over Alimzhan Tursunov.

On behalf of WBC Asian Boxing Council President, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi and the entire WBC Asia team would like to congratulate both new champions and their teams for their night of success.
