HONG KONG IS CALLING FOR WBC ASIA GLORY

9 Dec 2018

As the year comes to a close Hong Kong is calling for the final WBC Asia action of 2018. The bustling metropolis will be alive and punching when Tyson Ng will once again face off against his ring nemesis, Denchainoi from Thailand, in a rematch of their exciting encounter from earlier this year.

Their upcoming encounter takes on a little more spice as they will battle for the vacant WBC Asia Continental middleweight title.

The contest will take place on the aptly named ‘Night of Ring Diamonds’ event at the opulent Kerry hotel in the Kowloon district of the mystical harbour city of Hong Kong, on Saturday the 29th of December.

Can the slick Hong Kong warrior, Tyson, once again overcome the gritty Thai pugilist, Denchainoi? The winner will walk away wearing a shiny coveted WBC Asia championship title.

For those lucky enough to attend the event a special New Years treat is in store as current WBC minimumweight world champion, Wanheng Meenayothin, will box a two-round exhibition contest against his compatriot, Surakit Thepphuwiang.

On behalf of WBC Asia President, Pol. General Kovid Bhakdibhumi, WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman, and the entire team at the WBC, we wish both fighters our best wishes for their upcoming encounter and we would like to give a special mention to Aum Academy, Mabel and her wonderful team for organizing this event.
