Indian rising star Rajesh Kumar (9-0-1, 2KOs) successfully captured the vacant WBC
World Youth Lightweight title when he outpointed Filipino Glenn Enterina (12-4-1, 9
Kos) on April 14 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Punchkula, India. It was an impressive
victory of Kumar, a former tea seller, who comes from one of the poorest family in
Punchkula. The contest looked close affair in the first three rounds but after that the local
fighter mostly controlled the show with his superior skills, finally scoring a 98-92, 98-92,
99-91 unanimous decision and become the new WBC World Youth 135lb title holder.

In others action, Vikas Singh (6-0-1, 4 KOs) used his effectivecounter-attack tactic to
deny Suthat Kalalek’s aggression, finally scoring a 98-92, 97-93, 96-94 unanimous
decision over Thailander and capturing the vacant WBC Asia Silver Cruiserweight title.

Indian female Kirti (4-1, 2 KOs) won a splits decision over American Noemi Bosques
(11-12-3) in a 4 rounds close affair bout.

Canadian Roland Jeffery Membreno (2-0,2KOs) stopped Karan Singh at 1:16 of round 2.
Indian Sunil Siwach (2-0-1, 1 KO) won all 40-35 unanimous decision over Chinmay in a
4 round non-title bout.

Vikas Khatri (1-0) won a 39-37, 40-36, 40-36 unanimous decision over Ankit Thakur (2-
2) in a 4 round non-title bout.
