THAI BOXING HERO WANHENG JUST ONE WIN SHORT OF EQUALING MAYWEATHER’S RECORD

8 Dec 2017

Former muaythai star and Thailand’s boxing hero Wanheng Menayothin who has won all 49 fights in his boxing career is poised to equal Floyd Mayweather’s world record of 50 undefeated wins.
Wanhen’s current 49-0 record – 17 by way of knockout - is better than any current world champion and level-pegged with Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 former record.
The all-conquering Thai world champion is set to make boxing history when he steps into the ring to defend his WBC world title early in the new year - and endeavors to continue take his winning streak to 50-0.
Recently on 25 November Wanheng defended his WBC World Minimum Weight Championship against challenger Tatsuya Fukuhara who fought tenaciously but was unable to break down the fit and skillful 32-year-old Thai champion.
Wanheng conquered the WBC minimum world boxing crown in November 2014 and has since remained undefeated. His history-making 50th undefeated milestone is scheduled to take place in Thailand early next year.
