Tszyu shows precision punching

Tim Tszyu, son of legend Australian boxer Kostya Tszyu, won the WBC Asia continental super lightweight title in Sydney on 22 October 2017.

The 22-year-old rising star showed astute boxing skills against fellow Australian Wade Ryan, former ABCO Middleweight champion.

Tszyu pro record is now 7-0. However, Ryan gave Tszyu his biggest test knocking him down in the first round before recovering to win a convincing points decision.

Showing all the signs that he has inherited his father’s precise power punching the young Russia/Australian has developed into a genuine rising star.

On the same event held at the Sydney Casino former WBC super middleweight world champion Sakio Bika won the vacant WBC International Silver title against tough Serb Geard Ajetovic in the event broadcast by Fox Sports.

And world ranked Darragh Foley took home WBA, WBC Asia and WBO regional welterweight belts with a stoppage of Japan's Ryuji Ikeda. His record is now 13 wins 2 loses.
